The G.M.R.A is located a few miles outside of the sunny San Diego California. The Property is an approx two hundred acre area. There is a tan dirt rode that runs to the dorms. Each dorm is four stories in height and a light tan stucco, there are four student dorms that sit within one hundred feet of each other. The far left is the most senior students and the far right the youngest of the class. The first and third floor of each building is for the guys housing and the 2nd and fourth is for the girls. Each dorm has two beds and a window overlooking one the amazing overview of the the academy. Sitting in front the the dorms is the staff dorm, only three stories. The bottom story serves as the Academy Office and Student Store, the second used for the male teachers and the third for the female staff. Behind the dorms is a cafeteria with high class food, it can seat at least five hundred students with tables outside as well as on the interior of the building. There are paths wide enough to horses and dirt rodes that lead to the rest of the campus. The most immediate structures after the dorms are the five barns. Again the building used for the staff horses/leased horses/studs/and foals sits in front of the other four student barns. Behind this is the four student barns separated by grade level. Again, the far left the seniors and the far right the newcomers. Inside each barn is one hundred and fifty stalls, three tack rooms, a feed room, a stall for cleaning, and four entrances/exits at the south, north, west, and east points of the barn. Following the road to the left you will find the English and Western Indoor Arenas side by side. Each arena is either for English riders or for Western riders. Beyond these barns are the outdoor arenas for each riding style. By following the the westerly road the branches off of the one that led you to the arenas you will see the specialty areas. There is one for Dressage, Show Jumping, Reigning, Cutting, and Barrel Racing. There is also a racetrack for our racing Majors. There is also an steeple chase and cross country course for the majors in those disciplines. If follow the road leading to the west of this then you will see the four acres of seven round pens used for training, each round pen as three gates to leave from. Beyond that to the west are the seven paddocks and pastures. The paddocks are used for the riders leisure and the pastures are where the barns are turned out for ten hours per day for grazing. There are masks available for horses that found easily or are chow-misters. If you follow the road further to the west you come to the parking lot for the student cars and trailers. All of the buildings and roads such as these lead back to the main road and dorms in a loop surrounding the main structure of the Academy, the G.M.R.A Centre where all of our domestic classes take place. Surrounding all these structures is approx one hundred acres of trails for the students pleasures, it is highly unrecommended that riders to not go out alone on trial rides.
So come on and stable your horse, the grass is green, the sun is shining, and the horses are calling.
